Preferred Introduces Cyber Liability Coverage for its Membership

Preferred is pleased to announce the addition of a valuable new coverage, Cyber Liability, to the program effective October 1, 2011.
Highlights include the following:
- Coverage backed by A 15 Carrier
- Automatically added to members’ policies who purchase Claims Made Public Officials Liability coverage with the trust
- Third party liability of Media Content Services and Privacy Liability
- First party coverage Extortion Threat, Crisis Management and Business Interruption
- Limits of $100,000 per claim subject to $100,000 annual aggregate per member
- Access to Cyber Response Portal e-risk Hub to help understand exposures, establish response plans and minimize effects of a breach
