Estero Fire Rescue Recognizes Those Who Made an Outstanding Impact on Their Organization and Local Community

On Saturday, January 7, 2017, Estero Fire Rescue recognized those members who made outstanding impacts on the organization and on the community during their annual awards banquet. Fire Chief Scott Vanderbrook served as emcee and congratulated the following members on their awards:

EMS Crew of the Year – Chief Scott Vanderbrook, Assisting Chief Mark Wahlig, Division Chief Ed Dwyer, Battalion Chief Glen Brownlee, Lt. Grant Schwalbe, Eng. Jason Richards, FF Eliel Blanco, FF Simon Weatherhead, FF Dean York, FF Tayler Dubrasky.

Fire Crew of the Year – Lt. Robert Medina, Eng. Tony Horton, FF Tayler Dubrasky.

Merit Award – Jarred Whelan, FF Simon Weatherhead.

Chief’s Award – Clint Skelton

 

Employee of the Year – Maria Ramos

Phoenix Award (not pictured) – Shane Sells, Fred Gonzalez, Chris Intartaglio

Public Information Officer of the Year Award – During this year’s Florida Fire Chief’s Association annual conference, Fire Rescue East, Estero Fire Rescue’s Public Relations Manager Susan Lindenmuth was a recognized and presented with the Public Information Officer of the Year award. This award is presented to one PIO in the State of Florida each year who makes a significant and valuable contribution to the Florida Association of Public Information Officers and who has demonstrated excellence as a Public Information Officer.
