Pam Hancock, who was recently named Director of Loss Control for Preferred, has worked with Public Risk Underwriters of Florida for 16 years as a Senior Safety & Risk Consultant. Pam enjoys working with Preferred members to assist them with their policies, programs and procedures as well as making sure they have a complete understanding of the extensive services that are offered by Preferred.
Pam has lived in Florida for 31 years and loves the beach life. She has one son Jordon and lives in Sarasota. Here’s how Pam answered some questions about her role:
What do you like best about being named Director of Loss Control for Preferred?
Making a difference with all our members and working to help them find solutions to their issues – be it a safety, claim, policy or training issue. I really look forward to getting to know and working with all Preferred members and agents! If you don’t know me, you are going to love me!
What do you like best about working with members?
Working with members is fun and rewarding to me. I love the relationships that I have built with so many members and I look forward to building a lot more!
What do you like best about working with agents?
Our agents are our clients too. I get to learn something new from them every day. I enjoy forming partnerships with Preferred agents to best serve Preferred members.
What do you like best about being a part of the PRU team?
We are a TEAM, and we work together to achieve the best outcomes for our members. Every PRU teammate is there to support each other and our Preferred clients. Service is the heart of what we do is not just a slogan for Preferred. At PRU we live it, and our teammates are the heart of what we do.
