The Preferred Governmental Insurance Trust has been awarded the Government Financial Officers Association(GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the seventh consecutive year for its 2016 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).
Preferred Earns GFOA Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for Seventh Consecutive Year
The Preferred Governmental Insurance Trust has been awarded the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the seventh consecutive year for its 2016 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).
Preferred was first awarded the GFOA Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting in 2011 for its 2010 CAFR.
Preferred is the first public entity risk pool in Florida recognized as having earned the Certificate of Achievement and is one of about 25 similar trusts nationwide to receive recognition for this distinction.
The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.
